What buyers most often ask about the four fields.
Why only four verticals, what to do when a catalogue spans two, and how a vertical landing differs from a real specialization.
Why only four verticals?
Stone, tile, wood, slab are the catalogues the studio was shaped around — the four where the operational reality (slab-as-product, FTL freight, board-foot pricing, sample-with-postage) breaks every off-the-shelf Shopify pattern in roughly the same way. Adding a fifth would mean a system we have not built often enough to ship cleanly; we would rather say no than half-ship.
What if my catalogue spans two verticals?
Most catalogues do. A stone brand also sells the slab grade of granite; a wood brand also sells wide-format live-edge as slab; a tile catalogue carries large-format porcelain that behaves more like stone. We build the system to carry the overlaps — same catalogue, two rails of arithmetic — so the engagement does not split into two builds.
Do you take catalogues outside these four?
Rarely. If the operational shape genuinely matches — unique pieces, freight-heavy, trade rails, lead-time-led — we will talk. If it looks like a standard DTC product catalogue, the right call is a different agency and we will say so on the first call.
Is this Shopify Plus only, or also Basic and Advanced?
We build on every Shopify plan, but the verticals here usually outgrow Basic and Advanced quickly — the moment a brand needs Hydrogen, B2B, or custom apps, Plus becomes the right surface. We do that migration as part of the engagement when it is the right move, not as a separate upsell.
Are these landing pages or a real specialization?
