[Vertical] natural stone, marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartzite
Shopify for stone, built from zero.
Stone is sold by lead time, slab, and origin — three rails a Shopify theme cannot hold. We build the system that does: headless storefront, slab-level inventory, quarry sync, freight by truck not parcel. Marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartzite — all in one catalogue, two rails (retail and trade).
The places stone breaks Shopify.
- N°01CART
Theme carts treat a $4.99 sample and a $40,000 slab as the same line item — losing the deposit before it ever closes.
- N°02FREIGHT
Carrier-rate apps fail when freight is FTL, dock fees, and brokerage; quote-on-checkout breaks trust at the last step.
- N°03INVENTORY
Slabs are unique pieces, not variants — every theme assumes the opposite and collapses the catalogue.
- N°04ORIGIN
Heritage and quarry origin matter to the buyer; no theme surface holds either as searchable, photographed product detail.
- N°05TRADE
Trade and retail share a catalogue but never the same pricing, MOQ, or invoice terms — themes cannot bind them to identity.
The bespoke surfaces a stone build leans on.
These are the systems we have already built for stone brands. Eleven systems live in the library; the 5 below are the ones a stone catalogue leans on first.
Where the system holds the weight.
Every six-layer build runs; the 4 below are the layers that do the heaviest lifting for stone.
Not a freelance agency. A growth system designer.
We build the whole system, ship it, and stay on as the partner who runs it. The vertical is natural stone, marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartzite — but the work is the system that holds the vertical, six layers deep. We carry six to eight engagements at a time, on purpose, because that is how the system gets shipped at the standard we want it shipped at.
[N°05] Common questions · stone
What every stone brand asks first.
The five questions material brands selling natural stone, marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartzite put to the studio before the discovery call.
Do you build Shopify for natural stone brands?
Yes — stone is the vertical the studio was shaped around. Marble, granite, travertine, limestone, quartzite, all backed by slab-level inventory, FTL freight, and a sample system that credits forward into the deposit.
Can you handle slab inventory in Shopify?
Slab-level inventory is one of the eleven systems we ship. Each slab is its own SKU, photographed, dimensioned, on a 36-hour reservation the moment a customer claims it.
What about freight for stone catalogues?
We build freight as a system, not as an app. FTL Simulator recalculates carrier, weight class, and dock fees as the cart fills — UPS to LTL to full truck. The quote is real before the buyer reaches checkout.
Do you migrate stone catalogues from Magento or in-house carts?
Yes — migration is the sixth layer of the system. Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or a custom in-house cart with no export API. We rebuild the catalogue end-to-end and redirect every slug.
Which stone brands are a good fit?
Mid-market and growth-stage stone brands selling through both retail and trade. The system is built to carry both rails out of a single catalogue.
Build the stone system?
Every engagement starts with a paid discovery. We map your catalogue across the six layers and tell you which surfaces are off-the-shelf, which get adapted, and what is new.
